The Ginkgo is an ancient tree that is deciduous and turns yellow in fall. There are no known diseases or pests. It tolerates alkaline clay soils and is drought and heat tolerant. The leaves are a very interesting fan shape with veins running outwards. The tree is dioecious meaning that there are both a male and female trees.
