The Yaupon Holly is a native evergreen large shrub or small tree. This holly grows well in most soils and is drought tolerant. The Yaupon will grow shrub-like unless trimmed into a tree form. The canopy is dense filled with small dark oval leaves. Female plants get red berries in the fall that the birds love to eat.

This weeping evergreen tree form is a slow to moderate grower. The Weeping Yaupon Holly tolerates heat and drought. Produces red berries in winter.
