The Bur Oak is a large majestic tree that loves plenty of space. Native to Texas the tree is able to adapt to a wide range of soils and tolerates drought. Although it is a slow growing tree it is long-lived and gives your yard plenty of shade. The Bur Oak produces large golf-ball size acorns. The leaves are varied in shape but are a dark green leathery leaf.
